What are the benefits of using a Calcium reactor, is it so that you don't have to use a Two part additive?

You will still have to use Two part to get the system balanced but once balanced a properly set up calcium reactor keeps your tank stable for months at a time.

A poorly setup reactor is a pain in the neck.

The two key components are how you feed it and how you regulate gas into it. Purchasing quality products goes a long way here.
