Any predators other than a six-line for pyramidellid snails??

Thanks,
Tim

Darn can't get the search option on RC to work!

sorry to say that even 6 line aren't really effective. they sleep at night, pyrbstrds are only active at night. daniel knop in his book says coris gaimard may also work, but again, the timing differentials are the same, and he stresses ONLY as juveniles.
this is not a good cure or prevention. which stage are you in? hopefully neither.

Fortunately I am not in any stage. Have not added a clam to this tank yet and was going to add a predator to prepare for the worst case scenario. Which I guess will be plucking the darn things off as usual.... haha
Thanks for the input,
Tim

I've read the Yellow Coris Wrasse is a pyramid snail predator (I have one in my 60 gallon reef), but with much less of an attitude than the 6-line...

Also a nice touch of yellow to the tank. Don't let the name "coris" fool you though, they aren't really part of the coris family and therefore are not a major threat to shrimp or other inverts/crustaceans.
