What the main differences with these two units?

I know the Vertex has a booster pump for back flushing but the BRS comes with a manual flush kit too. I like the idea of 2 DI canisters but don't know if it's really necessary.

Looking for an RO/DI for the new 180g system and can't decide. Help? :)

I have the Vertex and I was in the same boat. I figure, if I want to add another DI canister, it wouldn't be that difficult. I like the automated flushing of the Vertex, but it's a single TDS meter, if that means anything to you. I also like the oil guage and 1:1 waste:pure water ratio of the Vertex. BRS is one of my favorite vendors so it was a really tough decision for me, too.

i just bought the one from thefilterguys. water saver series 150 gpd and about 1 to 1.25 waste ratio. they seem to know what they are doing. and customer support is good.

+1 on the OP's question, I have a similar dilemma and these appear to be in the top few. The booster pump appears to be a nice feature.
