hi i was wondering if anyone on here would know why the part of my rose anemone where the tentacles come out is a bright white? now my heater went out a few weeks ago and my tank is at about 62 F. Not sure if that has anything to do with it.

It might be bleaching, and 62F is too cold, in my opinion. I would shoot for at least 76, and 78 would be better. In their natural range, some btas are found in chilly water, probably as low as 62; however, that shouldn't be your target temp. upper 70s would be much better.

do it over a period of time so you dont shock your system. i also wouldn't wait too long. if it's been weeks already ...? dunno i would replace a heater asap.
