Help needed with sponge for Biocube

For the 8 gal biocube...is the blue sponge at the bottom right of chamber 3 or at the bottom left of chamber 2?

If the 8 is like my 14 it goes in the right side of the 3rd chamber. There is a small compartment the sponge sets in.

I put my hand down there...had trouble finding compartment...it was a year ago that I took it out...was a mistake..as I got a hard substrate particle in the pump.

I pulled mine a couple of years ago. If my memory serves me correctly i want to say you put it in the third chamber and slide it under the wall between 2 and 3.
