i have 2 picasso clowns, i just got them yesterday, they stay in the same spot in the tank most of the day, they made a burrow in the sand overnight and they moved 12 inches away and are making another hole right now. they are a pair, are they getting ready to make me a grandpa?

No.Ive never seen pairs of clowns lay eggs after being in the tank for 24 hours. However I have seen them spawn after 16 days in a tank.

The fish will make nest in the sand to get a place to sleep.I really think they wont lay eggs soon but never know.

Sounds like they're just making their bed...The female of my black/white occelaris pair dug out a spot on each end of the tank, but they mostly stay in one corner.
