I have a 90g FOWLR.

Will it give me that clear white/light blue look or a dull yellow hue.

what wattage would the 48" bulbs be?

48" bulbs will be 54 watts each. I have the 36" fixture (not using anymore) and the stock bulbs weren't blue enough for me, more white than anything else when both were on. Not to mention that actinics have low par. But with fowlr tanks par isn't as much of an issue.
It's a good fixture, but replace the bulbs with ATI blue + and ATI Aquablue Special. More blue:2 blue pluses, more white:2 aquablue specials.
