Here's my question:
Component wise, what's the difference between a standard M59 ballast and the equivilent in HQI.
What I want to do is convert 3 PFO 400 watt standard magnetic ballasts into their HQI equivilent.
In the standard ballast resides a tansformer and a capacitor.
What is in the HQI ballast? Do they have ignitors, different sized caps or a transformer with fewer or more windings?
If I could come up with either a supplier for a rebuild kit or a parts list that would be ideal.
