Anyone tried this skimmer?

Like the title says, has anyone tried this skimmer? if so whats your thoughts? I have a solana and and debating on a few skimmers right now and know octupus makes a great skimmer for big tanks. Thoughts please!!!

i had and it is a waste of money. i threw it and got a Tunze 9002.

I was thinking about going for the tunze myself but wanted to do a bit of research first. I was hopeing there was something better out there. Thanks!!

I hope you meant tried and proven..... in that case yes i agree but octupus is also a great brand as well. I was just hopeing for more than one option on a skimmer. Thanks for the advice, i guess tunze it is. Anyone recomend a good place to buy one?

Does that skimmer require you to mount it inside the tank? If so, I would not purchase. Would not be aesthetically pleasing and will require regular cleaning.
