Hi all,
So this morning areound 9am this fish was eating well (formula 2 flake and mysis), and swimming around normally. This evening around 5pm, he was hidding in the rocks, on his side, breathing heavy. dead shortly thereafter. Also its scales were pale, and its fins looked torn (tail and pectoral). the only other fish is a Juv Lion fish and ive never seen any aggression, as the flame was 2 1/2 to 3 inches long. anyway here are a few picks, the lion seems normal. Ive done a 5 gal water change, cleaned filter and running new carbon.

Oh and i recent tried adding an LPS (torch coral) to the tank which melted away in a few days (didn't look great but thought i could save it), could the lps dying have had a hand in killing the fish. I tested for amonia and it was 0.

35g hex
some mushrooms
racer abalone
