I am looking to relocate my RO unit to the basement and have a question about a fitting. I would like to avoid the self piercing saddle valve type, but have seen a faucet adapter on another forum that they sell at HD. It connects right to a faucet and has a 1/4" hose connected right to it, any idea what it is called or if home depot would carry it?

Thanks

Look around the water purifiers (near plumbing) at HD or Lowes. Of course, you could check the sponsors at the bottom of the main forum page. Filterguys etc..

There are various parts in this link, look at the faucet adapter labeled as "C"

I believe that to be correct.

BRS has it labeled as a "Faucet Diverter Valve". If you go to HD and tell them how it works they will more than likely find it for you.

Thanks for the replies. Decided to go with the Saddle valve, was easy to install and actually has more pressure than when it was in-line with the sink.
