I want to start a 10 gallon or so tank and I am looking at a cheaper LED fixture. Post pics of your setup with LEDs. PAR values would be greatly appreciated!

I'm using LED. Don't have PAR values, but you can find quite a few threads under the DIY forums that have measured PAR. I used my existing top to 'stuff' it with LEDs (came with 2 PCs originally). Cost me about 130 bucks.

Very cool, what are you growing under this setup? Was it difficult to wire?

I am using 16x Cree XP-E Royal Blues an 150w halide on my JBJ 28G tank to achieve 250w halide PAR levels. I havent measured it to this estimate, but from dicussions with one or two LED gurus, I am told my setup will match or exceed that kind of power.

Thanks, I grow mostly SPS. Not hard to wire.
