Im looking to buy an ro filter for around $140-150. Do you guys have any suggestions or links to any? Ive been getting premixed water from the lfs for awhile now (dollar a gallon, 5 gallons a week). Anyways after being cheated on water a few times its time to just get a filter. What do you guys think of this one?

I am also looking for some recommendations on salt. Ive thought about going with neo marine reef salt.

RO filters check out the filter guys they are a RC sponsor, have good quality stuff, and god prices. For salt go with Coral life best salt for the money by far.

any of the RC sponsers will provide a good, quality unit for $200 or less. as for salt...it depends on your setup really but mostly all well known salt mixes will serve you well. I personally use IO and have for nearly 20 years.

check out this thread for help choosing a salt mix best suited for your needs

Whichever RO/DI unit you go with, make sure you get a TDS meter!
