temp control on oceanic chillers

anybody know of a way to change the 3 degree setting on the oceanic chillers.. not real happy with this unit!.. first off its 3 degrees off on true temp.. but really just want to know if there is a way to change the factory settings!...

I dont think they are 3 degrees off, if your read out says 78 its 78, when it hits 81 it will chill it back to what setting its on, do you want it saying 78 and as soon as it hits 79 you want it to turn on? if thats the case your light bill would be outta this world, good luck....

yes , 1-2 degree change... as far as temp when it reads 79 on the chiller the true temp of the water entering the chiller is at 76.6.. and this has been checked with 3 different probes.. not sure why but seems like factory setting is off...this chiller is only 2months old!..anyone know how to reset factory settings!...

I would ask if you have contacted them... but I know all to well how that goes...

I would try seeing if you can talk to the sales rep from one of your LFSs. At least then you would have someone's name and number.
