I have a 30 gallon high tank with 2 Reidi seahorses and a nice cleanup crew. I want to add a couple of fish and I'm looking for some ideas. I have previously had yellow/neon gobbies as well as scooter blennies. I know 30 gallons is pushing it for 2 seahorses and fish, but I'm confident that between my filtration, cleanup crew and macro my tank can handle it.

I'm just looking for some ideas from those that have housed seahorses and fish in a small tank.

Thanks,

Brian

Maybe a pipefish?
Or a different kind of goby?

I was thinking about a pipefish but from what i have heard they are all wild caught and I'm worried about them not eating frozen food, as well as the possible parasites they may bring. Are my fears misplaced?

I dont think your fears are misplaced, but it is nothing that a two month quarantine, parasite treatment, and intensive frozen food training program wont fix :)

That's what I was afraid of. lol The quarantine is no problem...I just went through a battle with ich and will always quarantine from now on. But I don't want to have to train anything to eat frozen. I learned my lesson early on with seahorses and will only buy captive breed.

mentioned previously, but you could go with a small shrimp goby pair (yasha is good)
