Ok so I setup a frag tank, Its 48"L 24"W 10"H. I got a 6 bulb TEK T5 setup.

I'm planning on doing mostly SPS, Zoas and palys but maybe a few LPS.

My questions is how far should I hang the fixture from the tank?
Also what is a good bulb combo? Looking for good coloring but still want the corals to thrive and grow.

Im new to the whole T5 lighting, I usually go with MH. I did some research but couldn't find much info on short frag tanks so it would be great if you guys could help me out.

Thanks

Hit the Lighting forum. there is a great T5 thread and all of your questions will be answered there. Good luck.

What Pescado said on the Growth, I have over my Frag tanks 1 natural and 1 Aquascience Duo and they seem to be working quite nice.

I have mine about 10cm above the water. Check my Blog (http://trs.thereefshed.com) for pics.

I use several Tek5 fixtures. They are all on legs, and about 6" off the water. However, this is on an 18" deep tank, and a 27" deep tank. On a 10" deep tank, I really have no idea. I'd get on the Lighting forum and ask GrimReefer.
