I think it was Waffle that said in another thread that he found a source that was selling REAL DEAL purple hornets for $10 per polyp. He wouldn't say the source to help out fellow hobbiest so I guess they were fakes.

"Seeing is believing" and right now, I doubt any of us are "believing". Sure it's not one of the "African Steel" varieties? If the source is revealed, I'd sure like to know who or where as I would be all over that.

Even that is a good deal. Again, would love to have contact information for any sellers/retailers letting them go that cheap.
