I had seen the claws on this guy come out of a tiny hole trying catch my clowns in there home. After a month of trying I was finally able to catch him. Hopefully my clowns will return to their home and be comfortable :love2:

Some type of Xanthid (sp?). Teddy bears are hairy all over.

Yeah, I don't think it's a teddy bear. There is some hair but not all over.

It looks like a bad one.
It is probably a Xanthid but that's not for sure...Still, I'd bet that it's good that you got it out already.
Crabs are creepy looking. All of them.
How did you finally capture that sucker? I have seen one in my rocks and he is a hairy sucker. I need to get him out of my tank.

It looks like a mithrax (sp). like an orange varity of an emrerald crab. The claws look more like a salad tongs then a steak knife.
