I've got four fish in a hospital tank following treatment for ich and flukes. They are a pyramid butterfly, a pair of ocellaris clowns, and a majestic angel. Everyone seemed to have come through the cupramine and prazipro treatments just fine. They're all eating and active.
This is the seventh week in the hospital tank, while I let the display go fallow. After four weeks of treatment, I did a large water change and ran polyfilter pads to remove any remaining medicine. I've since done several 25% water changes.
The problem now is that the butterfly and the angel are starting to show some discoloration on their faces. I don't see any pitting, just patches where the pigment looks like it's been stripped off.
Any idea what's causing this? I don't want to cut the fallow period short, but also don't want to prolong their confinement in treatment if it's going to make them sick.
Thanks.
