AI LED Performance

I would like to see some pictures and performance reviews of the aqua illumination LED modules. Is there an experienced reefer out there who has switched from MH to AI LEDs and can attest to their coral growing abilities?


With electricity savings of $50/month (here in Santa Cruz with our tiered electricity) between LED and MH, LEDs are all of a sudden no longer cost prohibitive (equal cost after 1.5 yrs compared to 2x250W MH with 2x54W T5 or LED supplements). I am considering buying a 36" module for my 48"x24"x24" mixed reef.

When you mean tiered how is It broken down, and besides Santa cruz what other cities are effected?

I switched from MH to AI led's sometime around jan. I love them. No heat transfer, and lowered electricity usage. My coral growth has increased and coral color has at least stayed the same. I have had to lower some corals because the light intensity was too great.
