My black trigger yesterday ate four silverside,4 normal feeding mix and about a quarter of a sheet of nori.This all wasnt for him its just he saw it and went for it.

most definitely. one of the chief causes of the early demise of captive specimens is fatty liver degeneration as a result of overfeeding and/or a long term diet of foods with poor nutritional value.

also, many sedentary preds such as anglers and scorpionfish (especially lionfish) can eat to the point that their food begins to decompose in their GI tract before it can be digested, and usually die in the process.

It was a lot, but nothing of grave concern for a 10" Black Trigger. Just feed lightly tomm./the next day.

Well I dont feed my fish 9 days out of the month and the day before that feeding and the day after was two of those days.

a day here or there is no biggie...it's the constant overfeeding that becomes a problem.
