I got some zoanthids the other day. A couple polyps from different varieties. (I have no idea their names).
One type of zoanthid I got never quite opened up fully when the lights where on. I would come out and see it before lights where turned on to be fully opened. I thought the light might be too intense and so I put it in the shadow of some rocks. There it has seemed to be more fully open for longer now.
My question is if this was a good idea. Are there zoanthids or things that look like zoanthids that don't like intense light?
Thanks.
The other 4 small colonies of other zoanthids I got are doing great. I think.... :)
