Tan Volcanos?

So (long story short) I flipped over a rock and saw 3 tan volcano like things on the rock. Are they good or bad? May get a pic up later.

Do they look like sponges? Post a pic and maybe someone can chime in on what they are.

Does sound like Pineapple Sponges... I think ameares8 hit it.

There big, sponge like things. Biggest maybe an inch. Are they good or bad?

without a pic we can't tell you that.. But your discription sounds like a pinapple sponge as others have said which is harmless.

limpets look like tan volcanoes. they are harmless.
