I have a 40 gallon with a prefilter box in one corner. I was wondering if I can put a nano wavebox below my prefilter box which has a depth of 6 inches. So the top of the wavebox would be at a depth of 6 inches and the bottom of the wavebox would be 2-3 inches off the bottom.

Thanks for any advice/insight,
Ben

As far as I know...the top of the wave box needs to be exposed. If it's flooded, you won't get the effect your looking for.

It will work, but not very well, essentially this would be the same as running a 6055 on a 6091, you don't get the added power of the displacement of the box, 2 6055 on a 6091 would be about equal with on on each side in inverse mode.
