im just wondering how anemones reproduce?
i know the bta split but do all anemones split?
i just thought of this and figureed someone could help:thumbsup:

Almost all anemones split, but it is super rare unless it is a BTA. BTA and all other anemones can reproduce sexually. Like corals, some are male and some are females. :thumbsup:

ohh i see. i was wondering because i just got what seems to be a sebae anemone and hes tiny so it made me think if he was split or whatever.
im not sure if its a sebae yet. hes about 3/4 of an inch..

Actually, to the best of my knowledge, there are really only 2 anemones that split -- BTAs (( E Quadricolor )) and H. magnifica.

S. Haddoni is known to "bud".

All will spawn.

I have yet to hear/read of an "Sebae" (( H. Crispa )) every splitting.

+1.. The only ones i have heard of splitting naturally were BTA and magnifica.
