Is it the same as a strawberry gramma? If so, mine was a terror.

If it is the same as a strawberry dottyback, I can tell you they are a holy terror.

strawberry dottyback

Don't you mean strawberry pseudochromis

Pseudochromis porphyreus is a better name in this case. As everyone says, they are aggressive.

Is this the same as the orchid dottyback?

One of them has a darker spot of purple on it's nose.

When you guys say aggressive, could you list some eperiences please. I have the strawberry psuedochromis housed with a pair of percs that are very established(2yrs male, 5yrs female) and territorial of there host duncan. I also have a coral banded that's about 3yrs old. I have read they are shrimp killers. I have had the strawberry basslest for about 3 months now. I got him due to my pods were getting out of control and I couldn't find a 6 line wrasse, and the LFS recommend this fish and I fell for it. He has proven to be a great hunter, and I no longer see pods in any of my zoa colonies. I would like to get a goby, but I think I should remove this fish first, as it might attack something smaller or the same shape as the basslet.
