I am waiting on a quote from my lfs on a 72x24x24 brick style tank with no center brace, 2 overflows on the back wall with starfire glass on the front and side pains. Anyone have an idea what would be a fair and reasonable price? Just trying to educate myself to make sure I get a good price or know if I need to shop around. Thanks in advance.

I'm shopping for a tank like that, and I've found the aqueon and miracles both come up around 1k. That's in Canada though, I'd assume you could probably find one around 800 in the us

depends on the builder, to be honest. I could see that anywhere from the $800-$2000 range depending on the quality of build, glass thickness (which will be a big factor with the braceless brick style), and where it's coming from.

Coming from Deep Sea Aquatics out of Dallas. It is the old Oceanic guys who formed their own company when they pulled out of town. Not sure what the thickness would be but at least 1/2" maybe even 3/4". I am waiting to see what they recommend on the quote.
