I go to turn on the lights this morning. Same ole same ole. I turn on the actinics for a bit then on come the main lights. Upon turning on the actinics and looking over the tank as we all do,lol..I see the clown up against the overflow grate and he seriously looked DEAD. I exclaimed "Aw...Nemo is dead!" the husband says sell the tank (he hates the cost of the livestock...lol) but as soon as the lights had been on a few seconds away swims Nemo and is happy, looks great, eats great...nothing unusual from then on. What the heck?? Anyone else have a crackhead clown?

My midas blenny is doing it right now. He sleeps in the same corner as the clowns. He's an odd midas blenny. Hates rocks.

At night, mine swims sideways near the overflow grate...

Some marine fish sleep motionless unlike most freshwater fish in the trade.

My clowns always sleep laying in the branches of thier frogspawn. It's not uncommon.

Weird, all of my clowns have slept by fluttering up and down in one spot.

My clown sleeps up near the overflow as well. Once he slows down enough he'll get sucked towards it and then he just slowly flutters away. He does this all night.

My old clown used to wedge itself between my open brain and the glass. Sometimes it would even sleep upside down. Freaked me out the first couple times.

LOL....I have had him for several months now and he usually sleeps along the top of the tank right in front just above where the wood canopy hangs over...but yesterday it was sucked up against the overflow and this morning it was on his side on the mag float...and yeah, he doesn't look like he is breathing or anything...really looked dead. Haha no wonder they call them CLOWNS! Whew! sad, but if he dies I won't believe him...haha
