I have had this Naso Tang for about 3 months now. I had him in QT for 3 weeks before it went in the DT. I treat the QT with prazipro initially to knock out any flukes (I had this issue in the past). This entire time it's been fine and eating. Last week some weird things were showing up on it. Small white specks (not ich), spots of irritation. They would go away in a few days. Yesterday I noticed a 5mm spot where the scales were white and looked raised of the skin, the Naso still ate and seemed fine. Today he is on his last leg. I reached in the tank and took these pics. I give it a FW dip then put him in QT, nothing came off in the dip. It will probably die by the morning but I wanted to get an idea of what happened so that it can be avoided next time. Any ideas? What is a good form of treatment in QT if the fish shows no sign of parasites/infections? I don't want to treat haphazardly while the fish is already stressed.
