red sea c-skim 1800 any good ?
hi everyone just wondering about the red sea c-skim 1800 skimmer,for a 120 gal fowlr tank if not what skimmer would be good?thank you

With a fish only tank you don't really need a skimmer. But a euroreef rs 80 or something that size would do you perfect.

imo avoid any skimmer from red sea. you can get something better for same price or maybe just a little more, & have a great skimmer. i like octopus, but many like the vertex & others. im not sure of euro reef prices, but have heard good things on them as well.

ok, so what would be a better skimmer?
for a 120 gal, around $350 and out of the sump install. i may end up with corals i dont know yet will see how it gos.
to start with it will be fowlr

Octopus DNWB-200. For $350 or under and external its about your only other choice but I'd take it over the redsea (not that the redsea is bad, but this can handle more, has well documented pump mods if desired and is a few bucks cheaper).
