Today after doing a ~10% water changed I noticed my bluehead wrasse looked pretty terrible. He became pale and had many white splotches around 1cm in diameter. At first to me it looked like he had been beaten up trying to squeeze between rocks. He looked bad enough i figured he would be dead within a day. However, an hour after this he looked completely normal/healthy, his color returned and was his normal pugnacious self.

All the other fish and corals were unaffected by whatever was bothering the wrasse. I'm running a 90g main with a 90g refugium
- Copperband Butterfly
- 3 Pajama Cardinals
- 2 Tomato clowns
- Lawnmower Blenny
- Sebae Anenome, Acans, Mushrooms, Zoos, Frogspawn, Leathers

I think of wrasses as being pretty hardy and was surprised to see he was the only one bothered during the water change. Was it the temperature drop? Slight change in salinity? Nitrate spike from stirring up sediment?

Just hoping to learn what was going on with my wrasse. Thanks

- Sorry no pics, decided to post this too late
