I am about two weeks away from this process (first time). My QT and DT parameters are the same for temp and salinity. DT has zero readings for Ammonia, Nitrite and Nitrate. QT has little to no ammonia, kinda high nitrites (which I work ever day to combat) and high Nitrates. Can I just net the fish from the QT and place in the DT? Do I have to drip acclimate?

Any input appreciated!!

Still do the drip acclimation. Doesn't have to be a long one. An hour of dripping would do well for the fish. Parameters between the two tanks are not going to be the exact same which is why acclimating is best. That is how I do it when transferring and I haven't lost a fish yet.

You should acclimate the fish any time you move them from one tank to another. Unless the two tanks are plumbed together they're going to have different characteristics so you need to acclimate your animals when moving them from one to another.
