I posted this over in the general section and should have just put it here to begin with. At any rate I was happy with my concoction and thought others might find it useful. Again, I apologize if someone has already detailed a similar setup.
So I have been in the process of a 120 build with a 100 fuge and a 100 sump. I have been battling surging and bubbles from the drain lines plumbed to the basement fuge. I searched here and found some were using the reverse durso where the Y end is plumbed to the drain and the vertical part is capped and vented. It worked to a degree but still gurgled a lot though. It was at that time i decided to try and plumb the drain to vertical part of the Y, run pipe below the water level on the other end and cap it. From the Y I ran pipe at water level. In essence the tower filled, the bubbles collected and the water spilled out the Y with nearly no bubbles. Forgive the crudeness of the plumbing. I mocked it up with duct tape to see how it worked. All the plumbing is re-used from my try at the reverse Durso described here by others. I plan on cutting things down and see how it works with a shorter horizontal pipe but i sm confidant it won't affect my results. I may have got lucky or it may work for others. Either way, I have been able to reduce almost all my sump bubbles! Oh, the drain is 1" falling about 10 feet.. The Y plumbing is 2"
Y turned on it's side. Drain plumbed to the T side, collection chamber and cap under water on the other end. Spout off of the Y at water level.

Terrible picture, camera flash blurs the white PVC but you can see how few bubbles are coming out. I wish I had a picture of the amount off bubbles produced from the reverse durso detailed here, night and day difference and not even worth mentioning the difference with the drain just dumping below the waterline like a lot of people do.
