i bought this tank off of a friend of mine and after setting it up at my house i have noticed a small cluster of small white tubes growing off of the live rock. i have searched and searched for an ID of them but i havnt had any luck. please help!!
all i have observed is that it does not move at all...doesnt seem harmless i just want the peace of mind.

Hard to tell. Could be sponges, could be polyps.

Looks kind of like polyps that are closed up. I'm not too sure either.

They look like a type of sponge to me. I have seen something similar come up in a lobster trap before

also i have been trying to identify this type of anemone thats in my tank as well....talked to the LFS said he wasnt sure that he would look into it, but i figured i would show it to you guys see if anyone can identify them
the body of the biggest one is about a cm long the head cant be much bigger than that.
i have about a dozen spread out in the tank, but i havnt seen any new ones spring up.
