mine acted wierd when something messed with it one time during feeding. Pretty sure it got a bit jacked up.
What I did was gave it about 4 days and checked multiple times at night at different times to see if it was opening to feed and I was just missing it, then put it in a tupperware container with no light and basically put a ton of food in the water and waited a while to see if it would open. Repeat process over a few days.
But IMO that CAN be stressfull with temp changes and what not when its not in the tank, sometimes my dendro will get ticked and just not open for a night or two.

What are you feeding your tank. I think I would try Cyclopeeze, or even phytoplakton. Use a syringe, or pipette and gently push some food by the dendro. Do this approx 1 hour before the light go out, and hopefully it will start to come out. I start to feed the tank just before the lights go out and when the light go out my dendro is almost fully extended. Also try feeding brine, cyclopeeze and phyto mixed. Give him a few days of this and it should come out. I hope this helps.

I'm feeding mysis shrimp, coral frenzy, as well as live phytofeast! I'm going on day 4 with the dendro still not coming out. Any help would be much appreciated. I currently cut bottom of 2 liter and put it around the dendro so I could just turkey basted the top with all this food and put lid on it so it could eat as much as possible however it doesn't come out so I'm unaware if it's eating or not!

Looks like you may have fed it something that didn't go down too well. I would continue to provide stable water parameters. If you can manage to gently target feed with coral frenzy or cyclopeeze like Timeless suggested throughout the day while maintaining good water quality then keep doing it. It looks like the tissue is already lost from the inside of its mouth as well, so I'm not sure if trying to feed something like mysis is a good idea right now.
Even if it continues to lose tissue don't give up. Even if there is only a little tissue left and no mouth or tentacles that remaining tissue can become a new polyp. If you see any baby polyps forming continue to target feed the baby polyps with coral frenzy and cyclopeeze.

main head looks damaged is anyone messing with it? make sure its not in too much flow and cut flow off when feeding for a while gently target feed and that should do it. Dumb question but you didnt bump it while feeding did you?

give it time..mine got ticked off and didn't open for about 2 weeks after I decreased target feeding to help control the excess nutirents in the system, now it's opened most all the time and doesn't expect daily target feedings..also check around the base of it real good to make sure there is nothing growing on it..another time I thought mine was a goner for sure when all nine head seemed as if they were sinking more and more into the skeleton everyday when I removed it from the tank to get it a closer look, i noticed some of that black sponge growing on the back side if one of the baby heads....after scaping it off they where opened the next day
