I have a QT tank with a few clown fish in it. They have been infected with Brooknella. The tank has been running with low levels of copper in it and now that i'm seeing Brook, i'd like to does the tank with Formalin/Malachite Green (Quick Cure). Is the combination of copper and Fromalin a bad idea? I would assume too many meds would be very stressful and i'm not sure if combination of these specific meds has any side effects. Both of the product bottles, "Quick Cure", and "Sea Cure", dont mention anything about mixing. I've got a 50% WC ready, awaitning some advice before I add formalin.

Thanks

I don't think it's a good idea to mix. The combination of formalin and copper could collectively tax the fishes' liver and it isn't worth taking the risk. I'd either get the copper up to .25 or do two more water changes of 50% each and then add the formalin in strict accordance with the product's instructions.
