I have a 55 gallon reef tank. I started to spot feed all of my corals and seems that coral growth on SPS and LPS is showing big results...

I used to feed frozen food, twice a week and freeze dried the rest of the week.

Now, I mostly feed frozen food, including ( cyclopeze, brine shrimp, copods, Rod's original food, etc.

1) Seems like my SPS are growing faster or am I imagining this. So now I feed the dry food, once or twice a week. Is it true, sps grow faster?

Much of my LPS and Dendrophyllia seem to grow much faster. In addition, I now have my corals open very quickly in the morning during my spot feeding. In addition, fish go after the turkey baster for feed.

2) So does my orange and purple digitata, along with my monticap enjoy my feeding. I could be imagining it, but my monticap really seems to be growing very quickly.

So I see the following corals ( open brain, plate, scoly, etc., open their mouths for my food.

3) Also, does it hurt to feed my clams that are over 4 inches in length, now that they are larger?

Thank you,
