I added the Potter's Pygmy Angel 2 days ago. It immediatly attacked and stressed my clowns. I have 'fished' them out of the overflow on my RSM130, put in a small mirror for it to fight with, but even when lights are out it still chase them like a bad sequel to the sharkattack movies.

Atm I deported them to a small 20L tank temporary. Any clues as to how I can reintroduce them?

I've not kept a potters before. But, my CB would act this way to most new comers for 2-3 days. The agression would diminish and then go away. While it may not be expected to see the added fish be the agressive one, he looks to be a good sized fish for a potters to me. Maybe it's a maturity/territory thing. Obviously, some one, at some point miss named this whole group of fish "angels". That potters is a fiesty bugger! If you can catch him, I'd float him in a 1 gallon plastic jar for a a few days to let him adapt and see if that calms him down.

It's no distinguisable features on the Potter's afaik, so I'm certain its a woman. :sad2:

I'm upgrading to a 180gallon DT soon with a 80gallon sump, but I'm afraid the clowns won't survive the wait. And yeah, problem is when they get stuck in my overflow because they keep jumping out and refuse to eat even if the angel is busy at those times.

Actually males have much more dark blue in the middle than females and it appears you may have a male.

Place the clowns in a specimen container in the tank for a few days and the potters should get used to them and stop the harassing.
