hi rodger i just hooked up my two new 6305 alonge with two 6205 onto my 7095 controller the problem im having is when i have the controller set to interval 1 all the pumps are going from 0%-100% i thought i heard some where that these pumps should only run from 30% up but when i have the controller set to interval 2 or pulse it works as normal do you think its a faulty controller? also one of the new 6305 pumps is making a knocking sound when stopping and starting on closer inspection i can see the shaft moving back and forth when the pump comes on and off also what i notced on the 2 6305 pumps is one has a blue propeller and the other is black sorry for the long post
kind regards
john.

The clicking might be a disk/spacer issue or missing, do you have the dial on the junction box for that pump set to 100% since you are using a controller?

As for the controller interval 1 is working correctly. the pumps just should not be ran between 1-29%

hooked up a brand new 7095 just now just to see if it was the controller but it still acts the same think you might be right about the spacer i just dont understand why all the pumps just stop and start? before i added the two new pumps the other two 6205 ran normal on any setting ie 30%-what ever

Controllable streams can not be set from 1-30%. 0 and 31-100% is fine if I remember from what Roger said from 1-30 the impeller can get off balance. But don't quote me on the reason. I am sure on the percentiles

What is your interval speed set to? If it is set to some seconds or minutes what you are seeing is the controller alternating between pumps which is off and on and perhaps very rapid depending on the Interval you set. All Stream 2's are getting the new blue props now. They just came out, for years we have been using a prop made for RC model boats. We now mold our own, the only practical difference is our plastic is softer and more flexible and handles impacts better but this is rarely an issue on the controllable pumps when the screen cover is used. Try using a 6hr interval and set the top knobs to 100% and bottom knobs to 30% and set a 3 second pulse. Also make sure the photocell for nightmode is in a bright are or turned off or the pumps will not pulse.

hi roger thanks for your reply at the moment i have interval 1 set to 30%to100% why would you think all pumps which would be 4 in total go from o% to what ever the max setting i have chosen just to make things clear i thought that these pumps only run from 30%to100%? and not anywhere from 0% on?

It is happpening cause that is how interval 1 works, it alternates off on and between channel one and two. Interval 1 turns the pump(channel) off and on based on the timing set by the interval dial and selector. When each pump is on for it's interval it will pulse from the low speed setting to the high speed setting at a frequency based on the pulse dial setting.

Interval 2 is similar but instead of shutting off each channel will dial them back to the low speed setting.

Again, 0 is safe, just 1-29% is not
