right now all my rocks except for one is covered in green coraline algea, so it makes the tank look a bit dirty and very green. Any suggestions on how to get the other colorful coraline algeas?
i heard somewhere that if you turn off your powerhead for a couple hours and chip off a little bit of a different color coraline, that it can settle on the rocks and grow. true?

It helps if you introduce a piece of live rock from another tank with the colors you want

I have found that different colors grow well in different conditions. In my refugium I have a neon green coraline while the display is covered in purple and pink. The only difference between the two is lighting. (Refugium 65k and display 15k)
