So i have been having this problem for a while now and it is destroying my hammer. How can i get rid of or solve this problem ? I have them in other areas of my tank but this is the only coral its bothering although i have notice another one on one of my frogspawn heads.

If they are vermetid snails, then you can superglue their tubes shut, thus killing them off.

If they are vermetid snails,
I donīt think.
My guess is a Chaetopterid -->Phyllochaetopterus sp.

Good call, Manual removal or superglue should do get rid of them.

I have manually removed them they just come back but I'm not too worried about them any more. They did kill one of the heads of my hammer and my frogspawn but now the they are huge and healthy I am going to frag my froggspawn off anyone interested ? I have two with over 20 heads.
