Hey i have a 55 gallon tank and would like to know what are your experiances with different brands of HOB refugium. I cant get one in the bottom of my tank because with a 55 i dont have enough room with my sump also in the bottom of the tank. I plan to connect the fuge to the sump, and not the actual tank.
Thanks~ SC Reefer

Here's the one I bought, but it looks as if they don't sell them anymore.

It's worked very well so far. It's basically just like the other more expensive ones.

I had the CPR and it did the job. One nice thing is that there is virtually no flooding as long as you keep the outlet pipe clear.

Get an Eshopps. Best HOB skimmer on the market for the price. Pump is on the outside of the tank so you won't have an ugly pump in your tank taking up space. It also has a bubble plate to reduce the amount of bubbles returning to your tank I have one but have to sell it since I bought a bigger tank with a sump
