dead ballast

after only 2 months i think i ahve a dead ballast as evaluated by another reefer. my corals have had no lights all day and im taking the light to hopefully get fixed tomorrow praying it wont cost me all my money!

If it is 2 months old, it shouldnt cost you a penny to fix. It should be under warranty.

What makes you think it is the ballast and not the bulb? It is pretty unusual for a ballast to die in 2 months.

What bulb and ballast are you running? Is the bulb coming on at all? Flickering? Coming on but is dim?
