dottyback and firefish...

Been doing some homework and I think I'm in the clear, but just wanted to make sure an orchid dottyback and firefish would get along?

Also, would a purple firefish get along with them as well? Haven't looked into that yet...

Every fish is its own individual, but the dotty I had picked on everything the same size or smaller. It actually nipped the tails pretty bad on my two firefish. Again, it depends on the individual fish you get, but the dotty I had was aggressive and as a result had to go.

Dottybacks can be mean an aggressive to fish with a long slender body that resembles themselves. If in a small aquarium it can be a problem, in larger aquariums the firefish has enough room to get away, but as mention above every fish has a different character.

Only an 18 by 24 in footprint....might hold off on that then.
