My New Plate

This was sitting in the store for over a week and today I could no longer resist . It is a really nice purple with a pinkish tip . This pic is right after I placed it in the tank, let me know what you think.

Well...I think it's beautiful...that's what I think. I bought one of those only once but it seemed to damage easily because of the sharp "plates" that make up the skeleton. Just be careful not to handle it much, so as to avoid any damage that way.

also I understand that high magnesium kills em. Be careful how you dose. Very nice I like it! It will get much bigger when it extends.

I have no experience with them. But it's gorgeous.

It just proves how important placement is . I moved this plate about one inch into a sort of cave and it is now twice the size . The cave is opened at top to allow full light and little less but more random flow . Will post up a pic later.
