Hey Filterguys,

I already have 1x 100gpd RO membrane and am looking to save water by adding a second. Your kits are for 75/150, so I was wondering if there is a reason you don't have the 100s? Would I be better off dropping to 2x75?

Pressure after the first 3 stages, right before entering the RO membrane, is 63psi.

Thanks!

You certainly can use dual 100's but the problem with 100 GPD membranes is their 90% rejection rate. You would be much better off with your current pressure with dual 75's which have a 98% rejection rate for tds.

Hey Jim, thanks for the quick reply! I figured that was why, wanted confirmation. What is it about the 100s that makes it 90% as the 150 is also 98%?

They are a nano filter instead of a true RO filter.
