t5 Question

nova extreme pro or TEK? 75G tank im hoping i can get away with having only 6 bulbs and grow SPS. Does anybody have a similar setup or suggestions? or should i get halides lol?

A 6x54 watt Tek will definatly be enough to grow SPS in a 75... my friend has the same exact setup and grows Acros like a weed.

PS- If you can swing it, check out the new Tek Elite. Both are way better than the NEP, though. JMO!

the tek elite has been discontinued. why would you say this one is better?

I just got an 8 bulb tek for the same price as a 6 bulb due to them being out of stock when i called. Its a sunlight supply brand and i love it! Its on a 48x18x21 75 gallon.

Since when? There was some issues over the winter but to my knowledge they have all been resolved and are hitting the LFS's. The 8 bulb fixture i would get but its roughly 2 inches wider than my 75. doesnt it look goofy?

Does anybody have any thoughts on what bulbs will give me the 12,000K look? should i just get the standard 10K whites and 420nm bulbs or are there bulbs that will help grow corals or just look better/different in general?
