I have 40 gallon breeder QT that is home to Powder Blue, Yellow Tang, and Flame Angel for several weeks. The Powder Blue has been flashing and darting around the tank lately and looks to be covered in ich or a micro ich. Ich normally looks like grains of salt but this looks smaller and lighter in color and doesn't show up on my digital camera. I'm calling it micro ich until someone can tell me what it is. What will work faster in relieving his stress, Copper or Hypo. And if copper, Cuprmine or Copper Safe?

I also have a HOB filter rated for a 100G , cannister filter, and can add a skimmer if needed.

I'd use cupramine.

Copper. And I agee use cupramine. However, you need to ramp up to treatment strengh very slowly. The package says to do so in 48 hours, but my experience is many fish cannot handle the cupramine being ramped up that fast. I suggest that you double that -- meaning 4 days to get to .5. However, your fish will start to get relief on day 1 of the 4 day ramp up.

Hard to tell without pictures.

Copper will work on velvet but not brook. I think you need formalin for brook
