I am working with an Apex, 2- EB8, PM2, I/O, Lunar Sim & WXM.
Float switches are Sump Low(Switch1), Sump High(Switch2), Skimmer Cup High(Switch3), Fresh Saltwater Low(Switch4).
I am using 3 peristaltic pumps with flow rates of 0.8g per hour. One for RO/DI Top Off, one for Fresh Salt Water In and one for Old Salt Water Out.
I currently just have the top off programmed as:
Fallback OFF
Set OFF
If Switch1 OPEN Then ON
If Switch2 OPEN Then OFF
I will be doing an approximately 25g auto water change per week.
I would like to alternate between the top off pump and water change pumps. I would also like to use the conductivity probe(Condx5) to adjust the salinity in conjuction with the water change and top off. When conductivity drops, I want the Apex to use the fresh saltwater instead of the RO/DI water to bring the conductivity back up. When conductivity gets too high, I want the Apex to hold on the water change and just use the RO/DI to lower the conductivity.
Water Change Pumps
On for 11 minutes per hour = 0.15g x 24hrs = 3.6g per day x 7 days = 25.2g per week
Top Off
On for 49 minutes per hour.
There are a couple of ways I can think of to do this. I can have the top off Off with 11 minutes of old water out THEN 11 minutes of new saltwater in then have 38 minutes of normal top off per hour OR run both old water out and new saltwater in at the same time for 11 minutes while the top off is off then have 49 minutes of regular top off.
