I got a kit from aquahub.com and really like it. Pretty easy to install too.

The ATO I built comes directly off of my RODI. There are two solenoids before the RODI (one is a backup). These are connected to a relay which is connected to an on float and an off float. As a backup to all of this, I have a float value in the tank if both solenoids fail.

The system works very well and does not require a tank for holding RODI water or a pump.

GRAVITY FEED. All you need is a float valve in the sump and a line from the container to the sump.

I do not have room for the gravity fed system, although it was a thought that was heavily contemplated

I agree:

Just get a 10g container and your set.

In that case, I would go with something simple from autotopoff.com I have heard too many bad things about the jbj.

I am waiting to see reviews on this one: reef builders .com/2010/05/13/osmocontroller-digital-elos-heat-control-water-level/

[I am not sure why this forum engine censors the reef builders .com site]

It does not have a mechanical switch, instead it has a probe (heat). Looks very simple and clean. Not sure on pricing though.

I like the level-loc new setup! No filling buckets. You do need a 1/4" line to your system some where thou. I have a similar DIY version.

I have been using the one from autotopoff.com with no problems.
